Documentary “Hoffnung schenken – heute”

The two filmmakers Astrid Kofler and Helmut Lechthaler spent in January some time in Nepal and northern India, visiting South Tyrolean relief projects.

This resulted in the impressive documentary films “Hoffnung schenken – heute” (Give hope-today) including several projects of the ProNepal association. On 21 September 2023

both films were shown at the Filmclub Bozen. The large hall was filled with interested visitors.

Afterwards, a discussion took place with the filmmakers Astrid Kofler and Helmut Lechthaler, Meinhard Kritzinger (Doctors for the World, South Tyrol), Ernst Preyer (ProNepal) and a representative of the Office for External Relations of the Province, Alice de Rossi. Thomas Benedikter moderated the discussion.

The films were broadcast  in german language in the following days on RAI South Tyrol and can now be found in Mediatek.
