We are four clowns of the association “Cuore per un sorriso” and in February we spent eighteen days in Nepal. With the support of ProNepal we were able to visit two orphanages in Kathmandu and a school in a rural area. Everywhere we visited we were welcomed with great enthusiasm and curiosity, but also perceived and experienced very difficult situations, especially in the life of women and children.

We tried to give, with respect and simplicity, a little bit of what shouldn’t be missing in every single life of every child: a smile, joy and fun. In return, we received a lot of hugs and many small hands shook ours.

From this experience we not only take away the happiness we saw in the eyes of these children, but also the awareness that the possibility of a school education and loving care, especially in very difficult situations, can have a lot of positive effects.

We thank the association ProNepal

Even before the earthquake in April 2015, the construction of this drinking water pipeline of Jamune should  start.  The earthquake  shifted all the prorities; the population of the severely affected village of Jamune was unable to begin the construction of the water pipeline after the earthquake.

After a revision of the project, which was necessary due to the effects of the quake, our partner organization sent us  the first pictures from Jamune, which show that the work is now going on quickly. The population of Jamune waited for a long time and worked hard for this vital infrastructure.
